SPX COMMTECH
SPX Communication Technologies, a division of SPX Technologies that specializes in radiofrequency transmissions, was comprised of two related companies: Enterprise Control Systems (ECS) and TCI International, whose brand identities were combined into one unit: TCI/ECS. In 2025, with the acquisition of a third related company, Kranze Technology Systems (KTS), SPX needed to revisit its branding strategy to reflect these separate but interconnected business units within its Communications Technologies space.

I assembled design elements that both updated and expanded upon SPX Communication Technologies’ existing identity, working to enlarge the parameters established by the parent company’s graphic standards.

Our team introduced a primary and secondary color palette for each company to supplement and contrast the standard blues and grays of SPX.
We re-established the logos for each company, consistent with SPX’s full portfolio of 35 brands.

And we built the assets to support the business operations of all three companies, separately and together, including brochures, PowerPoint templates, email layouts and signatures, social media posts, trade show booths and business cards.
